The Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) helps self- assist teams (SHGs) to organize natural gulal from flowers collected from distinguished temples of the state.
The UPSRLM, a division of the state authorities, is offering flowers freed from value to those self-help teams.
The Vindhyachal temple in Mirzapur, Devi Patan in Shravasti, Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, Khatu Shyam in Lucknow, Gola Gokaran Nath in Lakhimpur Kheri and different distinguished temples throughout the state are offering flowers to the self-help teams chosen by the state authorities in these respective districts.
The flowers collected from these temples are primarily rose and marigold.
“The self-help teams are getting ready one kg natural gulal by investing ₹50. They’re promoting it to different self-help teams engaged in advertising for ₹100 per kg. The division has set a goal of promoting natural gulal of ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh in every district. Throughout the state this goal is ₹one crore. The collective revenue is predicted to be round ₹50 lakh to ₹60 lakh for self-help teams.
